Act 1 Scene 1 Hamlet the prince of Denmark. This is about Banardo on top of the castle looking out for the ghost which has apparently been seen on the castle grounds. Banardo takes the place of francisco so he can go home to bed. Banardo waited on the castle roof for marcellous and haratio in the cold,Haratio thought marcellous was imaganing seeing the ghost and thought his eyes were playing up because he had been out there for so long. They had been seeing this ghost for 2 nights now, and at the same time, 1am. They finally see the ghost at 1am again and points out that it looks exactly like the old, dead king. They see that the ghost was dressed for battle and they asked for it to speak but before he answered he'd gone. In those days they believed it wasn't good to see a ghost and that something bad was going to happen to the country. So, between the ghost sighting and the norweigean, seemingly tireless preperation for war, what with working sundays (not standard back then!), bronze cannons being manufactured at an increased rate and the increase of guards, this did give the trio reason to beleive, that conflict was i mpending. At the end of act 1 scene1 the trio decide to tell Hamlet about their sightings of the ghost because they want to know what is going to happen to their country, they are going to tell Hamlet because they think the ghost will speak to him.

Something Wicked This Way Comes
Milly was 6 years old,nearly 7 she was so excited for her birthday. It wasnt all so good when she finally got the present she had been dreaming of.This is Milly's story ...
Its just one more day till Milly's birthday,shes seen a beautiful doll in the local shop window. She had been pleading her mum for so long now and her mum said when it comes to her birthday she can have it. Milly had her hopes up so her mum bought it for her. There is something strange though, every time her mum goes to the shop the dolls eyes change like last week they were open an now they're closed.
The doll is a beautiful china doll with a pretty pink dress and long black curly hair,it would be every little girls dream to have this doll.Milly's mum had promised her the doll so the day before her birthday she went off to the shop to buy it.She walked home and put it in the cupboard under the stairs so Milly wouldnt find it.The family had their dinner then went up to bed.Milly's mum got up extra early so she could wrap the doll up an put the balloons and banners up.She went to the cupboard under the stairs and yanked the door open,the doll was gone...so she carried on putting banners up in the living room and there was the doll sitting in the arm chair starring at her with big red beady eyes.
Screaming and screeching,Milly thuded down the stairs to see her present. Milly's mum handed over the carefully wrapped doll Milly teared the wrapping paper apart to finally see her dream present her eyes gleamed with excitment.At lunch time Milly and the family went out for a birthday meal she loved the doll so much she took it with her,she played with it all day. It soon come to bed time Milly left the doll on the arm chair exactly were her mum found it. The clock struck 12 midnight when Milly got woken up by an ear piercing bang! She thought it was just a dream, but then she heard little footsteps coming louder and closer. The door creaked slightly open at this point Milly was petrified. The china doll stood at her door starring at her with this time big black eyes,she pulled a sharp knife from behind her she began coming closer and closer.Milly squealed and ran to her parents room but they were not there.The china doll had already visited their room...
